You are also able to share- (PAY OUT) float to an MTN/AIRTEL agent, but that is a service controlled by MTN/AIRTEL and they charge for it. We have not much control over that, unfortunately. (The charges on MTN/AIRTEL payouts are: Between 500 – 60000/- = 500, Between 60001 – 500000/- = 800, Between 500001 – 1,000,000/- = 1200, Between 1,000,000/- and above = 1400.)
However, you can avoid such unnecessary charges, by trying out these 2 options. 1. Have a trusted Chapchap agent you can share float with for free and they give you cash. 2. It is best to balance out your transactions, so you do both transactions that bring in float (withdrawals) as much as the ones that take out the float for cash (deposits, bills, and airtime).
