A National ID is a mandatory requirement for opening a ChapChap account. Without it, you cannot complete the full registration.
However, if you have a NIN but have lost your physical ID, you can still:
- Create the account, and
- Transact on bills and airtime while waiting for ID renewal or replacement.
Once you receive your physical National ID, you can then submit your KYC documents to fully license your account for mobile money transactions.
