How does one sign up for an account on Chap Chap? 

To Sign up or register on a Chap Chap

Step 1: Download the App (from google play store)

Step 2: Register an Account

1. Open the app and tap “Signup.”
2. Enter your phone number (must be registered in your name) and verify.
3. Enter the OTP sent to your phone and submit.
4. Provide your personal details:
   • First and Last Name
   • Date of Birth
   • NIN
   • Email Address
5. Enter a Sponsor Code.
   • Call Support on 0323002828 or 0323002830 to get your Sponsor Code.
   • This helps us license your account for mobile money transactions.
6. Set and confirm your PIN to complete account creation.
   
   Step 3: Pay the Registration Fee
7. Go to the “Deposit/Withdraw” tab.
8. Pay UGX 50,000 for registration.
   • Ensure your mobile money account has at least UGX 53,000 to cover transfer charges.
